Our goal was always to create a variety of Christian media to engage our culture and the church.
Our first project was a radio drama called A Work in Progress. You can listen to all of the episodes here. The video to the right tells a little of our history and provides some behind the scenes footage. Here is an article telling a bit more of our story.
We produced 78 episodes of our serial audio drama from the year 2000-2009 with the help of dozens of volunteers. After nearly ten years of fun and learning we decided it was time to move in another direction. Seeing what The Kendrick brothers accomplished at Sherwood Baptist church with their films Flywheel and Facing the Giants we saw that it was possible for a group of Christians to make films and have an impact. So in 2009/2010 we started the process of making a feature film called Homecoming. We made this film for about $20,000. Homecoming is a story of forgiveness and of letting God work in our life.
After making Homecoming we took a break to decide what to do next. After a lot of thought and prayer we decided to continue with Christian films but to make a short film so that we could improve our quality while focusing on a smaller more manageable project. In the summer of 2014 we ran a crowd funding campaign and raised $15,000 to fund a short film called Masquerade.
Christian Walk Alive, Inc is a 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit. We have an all-volunteer board of directors who guide the ministry. All of our projects have been funded by donations and brought to you by the hard work of our many volunteers to whom we are most grateful.
If you would like to help, make a donation or just drop us a line, we’d really appreciate it! We look forward to answering any question you may have. Your donations are tax deductible and we’re willing to help others do what we’re doing by sharing our knowledge.
We exist off of donations. Our goal is not to make money for our board, but to share the Gospel and impact our world for Christ. Please prayerfully consider giving to help the ministry. You can make a donation through Paypal or buy a copy of Homecoming to help support us.
